TransParenting is a four hour educational program about the needs of children during and after the divorce of their parents. Topics include typical reactions of children, skills that help children cope, and visitation issues. The Circuit Judges of Baldwin County require all divorcing parents to complete this program. TRANSPARENTING/ROLLERCOASTERS
Rollercoasters is a program for children whose families are experiencing a divorce, a separation, or remarriage. Children are helped to develop hope and confidence about their futures. Parents can expect their child to learn ways to manage their feelings, process their anger, and develop new coping skills.
Classes are offered to children ages 5-12, in two groups (5-8 and 9-12). Classes meet weekly for eight weeks. For more information, email robin@bccarehouse.org or call 251-580-2546.
